John Kanter, Ministry Representative
John Kanter was born in Los Angeles to Jewish parents of Russian ancestry. At age 16, he trusted Yeshua (Jesus), the Messiah of Israel, for forgiveness of sin and eternal life. John has been involved in Messianic ministry for over 30 years. He has served as a Messianic pastor, para-church minister, national ministry representative, and radio broadcaster, preaching and teaching the Jewish context of the Scriptures to numerous churches domestically and internationally.
In addition to John's messianic preaching/teaching ministry directed to the church at-large, he's also locally engaged in apologetics and evangelism at several college campuses in the DFW metroplex.
John is passionate about spiritual mentoring. In one-on-one or small group settings, he seeks to help young adults develop the skills, knowledge, and character they'll need for a lifetime of Great Commission disciple-making.
John's life verse is Ezra 7:10, because in his words, “I desire to be the best student, practitioner, and communicator of the Word I can be for the glory of God."
John is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Terry, have a married son, Stephen, and a grandson, Joel.
